About me

Jessica Rodríguez Frola, Bachelor in Social Sciences/Graduate in Political Science, with specializations in Political Communication and International Politics. Political analyst and consultant since 2015. Occasional press contributor.

Founder of ESCANEO POLÍTICO (POLITICAL SCAN), a space that serves both as a professional portfolio and as a platform for analysis and opinion in the fascinating field of international relations. It offers: 1) Contextualization of significant political events worldwide; 2) Identification of current trends; and 3) Projection of future scenarios. Content is primarily in Spanish (*english and italian available on request*) and designed to be accessible not only to experts and practitioners, but also to anyone interested in the subject.

Maintaining the same analytical rigor, though applied to less formal facets of power, the blog also includes «unconventional» and intriguing articles that, in an entertaining and fresh way, aim to explore the connections between geopolitics and various aspects of popular culture, daily life, and social phenomena.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that ESCANEO POLÍTICO has a special section called MODA & PODER (FASHION & POWER), which presents an alternative reading of the latter, placing the focus on the aesthetic details that complement it. Here, public image is understood as a tool for non-verbal communication, acting as an extension of the political discourse.

Core principles: dialogue, mediation, and cooperation as key tools for addressing and resolving issues of any kind. Special emphasis on the importance of institutional frameworks, diplomacy, and global organizations—despite their shortcomings.

Guiding maxim: “Without freedom, democracy is despotism; without democracy, freedom is a mirage.” — Octavio Paz.
